Something is Wrong with our air-conditioning.
It was 98 degrees outside today. Gaaaah! (Melting! I'm melting!)
Eric is troubleshooting. Let us hope it is a cheap/simple fix.

When our AC froze up, we called out the repair guy, and to my chagrin, it was just the filter. Make sure to check that first...$80 later and a lot of embarrassment...

Oh Yes, and I forgot to add, I FEEL YOUR PAIN. Our AC froze up on the hottest day of the summer. It was like 103 here. ARGH. Good luckQ
ReplyDeleteEric took it apart and cleaned it out, removing 2 year's worth of debris and degreased it or some such. Now we're going to see how it handles tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHe called an HVAC place that said it would be $220 just to come out and look at it. For that kind of money it was worth it for Eric to give it a go. Tomorrow we'll find out if it works or not.
As for the tomatoes, apparently there are 3 reasons: genetics (it is just inherently that way), if the growing temps are too cold the cell wall starts to break down, or improper storage. Don't store tomatoes in the fridge.
