It doesn't seem to be cooking these days, though when I think of all of the kitchen scraps that went in and that I can't see anymore I guess it's done a lot.

It's just cold now. But at least it's wet.Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17880850905449197695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33516164.post-1161037044870234622006-10-16T16:17:00.000-06:002006-10-16T16:17:00.000-06:00Funny,My wife loves the Mantids, but I like the sp...Funny,

My wife loves the Mantids, but I like the spiders!Froghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02599538461796665267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33516164.post-1161006032925844312006-10-16T07:40:00.000-06:002006-10-16T07:40:00.000-06:00Oh, but the bug room? Butterflies! How pretty! Hey! It landed on me. Oh...look at the size of that bug body. Holding my sleeve with its creepy legs...Ack! It's just an insect with nice wings! Argh!"

Sorta like that. So I have to repress the creepy insect thought and stick with the pretty bug thought. It would take so much less time to use one than to cut everything down to size with garden shears!

All that extra time for...gardening!

I keep thinking I'd never use it enough to justify the cost, but I keep needing one, at the very least 4 times a year. Mixed with the straw, it's excellent for the garden.

I still dream of having a chipper-shredder to mulch the leaves falling at this time of year. We'd have no issues filling several wheel barrows full if we could mulch all the leaves in the yard.Froghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02599538461796665267noreply@blogger.com
