Today, after watching water fall out of the sky for two whole days! (If you lived in Colorado you would know how dry it normally is here and how amazing such an event would be.), we went outside today and...
Lay down in the hammock.
And slept.
For about 5 minutes. Then the twins woke up, but dang it! I was in the hammock!
I took a few minutes out to enjoy the yard and not run through the list of Must Get Done in my head. (Clean out pond, weed whack edges, clean out fountain, plant more seeds, plant front yard, weed back yard, plant zinnias, remove noxious weeds: Dame's Rocket, start new pile of compost, call Business Partner, etc. You see? It's very bad, the list making.) No, no. Instead, I lay down with Eric and Caitlin (Who was reading.) and suddenly fell asleep.
Very soothing.
Now, however, I must run some errands.
The whole world still feels like it's swaying though.

This reminds me that we have a hammock in the attic. I really must go dig it out and set it up.
We had a fantastic day here. The weather was bee-u-tee-ful and we lounged and played outside for hours. I love days like this. Glad you got to enjoy it too!
I so want a hammock. And a place to set it up.

Oh, a hammock! I'm so jealous. Love them. We have one at our house in Indiana...far, far away from here, though.
My friday was not that much fun, I went into NYC for a great lunch, but then got ill.
Yuch.
But now I am working on moving!
