Oft Repeated Phrases

In no particular order (except maybe #1):
  1. Brush! Your! Teeth!
  2. Put that down.
  3. No! Don't! Arrrgh!
  4. Caitlin. Caitlin! Caitlin! (While not actually a phrase it gets repeated a lot around here.)
  5. Get that out of your mouth!
  6. Stop whining.
  7. Stop wiping your hands on your pants. Use a napkin. There's one right in front of you!
  8. Watch where you're...*crash*...going. (Sigh.)
  9. We're going to be late!
  10. I love you, honey.
What phrases do you have on continual repeat around your house?

"What are you supposed do be doing right now?"

This statement is usually followed up with:

"Why are you not doing (enter whatever task is supposed to occur here)?

"Please eat your dinner honey"

"Please stop dawdling, we are going to be late."

"It's time to get ready now, we are going to be late."

"Have you finished breakfast/dinner yet? We are going to be late!"

Lateness is a theme in our house.

"Stop hugging your sister!" (One twin loves to hug, the other hates to be pinned down.)

"Stop whining."

"Stop whining."

"Stop whining."

and.... "Stop whining."

(BTW, nice blog. I stopped by after laughing out loud at your comment on Swistle's blog re:pinehole.)

Hi Mommy Brain! Thanks for dropping by.

Glad I made ya giggle, but really? No one should buy prezzies for pineholes. It only encourages bad behavior! Geez!

"Please don't chase the cats."
"Please leave the dog alone."
"What? I don't understand whining."
"1....2....3..."
"Just ignore him. He'll stop."
"Where did you learn that word!?"

Ahhh. Life with preschoolers....

Hi Maria! Thanks for dropping by.

Yes, I've seen the Mom Overture and have even posted it on the blog somewhere in October or November, I think. It would be appropriate to sing it to Caitlin, if I had a short term memory any more.

Sigh! All gone!
