Presents

Beware cats that bring toys into your bed at 2 am.

Not only will their excited cat noises keep you awake, you won't like finding out that the toy is small, grey and alive.

You'll like it even less when the scenario is repeated at 6 am, with a new mouse.

Welcome to The Great Mouse Invasion, 2008.

Sigh. We have invaders, too. Not in the bed, thank God, since our old, decrepit cat simply stares at me when I request action on the mouse front. Thanks for making me realize it could be worse.
Back to the traps.
Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

How To Solve That Problem: (written from experience): No more cats allowed in bedroom. Period. It worked like a charm in our house!! Of course, stepping on a cold dead little body in the dark kitchen is no treat, either. :-)

That is totally going to give me nightmares. Guess it is good that at least the cats in your house attempt to help out. The senior citizen cat at our house can't be bothered with such things, and the new kitty is not much bigger than a mouse herself, so I don't think she will do much for awhile.
